The Surallah Water District celebrates its 30th founding anniversary on September 9, 2021 with a theme “Moving forward @30: Commitment to provide Safe Water while protecting Nature”. Following the IATF and DoH protocols, the district celebrated through an online streaming site and was physically attended by at least 30% of the employees. The Board of Directors and the General Manager were able to attend the program virtually. Employees’ who rendered their unselfish service to the agency as they reached their 10 years and 15 years of service in the government service were also given recognition during the program. The celebration was highlighted by the announcement of electronic raffle draw winners of grocery items and winners of poster making and mascot design making contest. Two hundred (200) lucky residential consumers were picked through an online wheel and won grocery items.

For the Poster Making Contest, John Margell Carmona from Libertad National High School bagged the 1st prize and beats eight (8) other entries.

While for the Mascot Design Making Contest, Sheila Mae Dogoldogol from Holy Child College won the 1st prize.

The activities conducted were first time in the history of Surallah Water District. Despite the pandemic situation, the Surallah Water District was able to celebrate the 30th anniversary successfully.
